Finally the Spanish Rojo Cinco blog uploads the video coverage from the Spanish national tournament held back in September.

At the time this particular match made some pretty big waves throughout the community as it was largely believed that there were only three viable list formats in the wave four meta, those lists being derivatives of the fat Han list, TIE Phantom lists, or TIE Swarm lists.This final of a national tournament having been help in the interim between the US national tournament and the World championship surprised many when the list that won featured the HWK-290 as the squadron linchpin, However at the time further information was pretty scarce. word of mouth informed the community that the squadron featured Roark Garnet, Airen Cracken and two blue squadrons however further details were a bit fuzzy and the only sources were Eye witness testimony.

Anyway six months later the video finally surfaces (with very little post production work so I guess the delay was due to having a very busy schedule) so take the time to check it out.

The NYCXWing Team have been pretty quiet for the past few weeks and now we see why. They've come back from their sabatical with newly reworked title sequence and a logo. They also seem to have worked considerably on their commentary delivery, now with a more natural conversation and a lot let pauses and Ummm sounds.

The German Pirates of Tatooine channel uploads a battle report from their local competitive league in Cologne.
For the majority of the video most of the ships are not visible as they didn't make sure the full playfield was captured by the camera.in fact they would have been better angling the camera after deployment as its pretty clear the majority of the game would take place on the far side of the playfield.

X-Wing Battle Report 2015-02-19

Another new channel turns up this week, this time in the form of the dutch speaking Target Lock Channel.

They seem to have a very strong commentator that has no trouble keeping a conversation constant and also discusses the match enthusiastically which helps to hold attention.

However the down side is this death star surface mat. I know of a least a couple of other channels that started with this play mat only to discard it as soon as possible. The main problem is that the manufacturer wanted to give an impression of depth but the extra long shadows provide too much contrast and effectively act as camoflage making it hard to make things out even whilst the play area is well lit.

German language LtCmdrBareik has an interesting take on a battle report by uploading a series of short videos where the highlights of the game are played out. For the most part these videos are too short to give you a good idea of how the game went and what tithe the shaky cam and cluttered playfield there's no real sense of how the game progresses

The Australian Fly Casual channel brings of coverage of a tournament to win a wave 5 ship.

This round one match features an interesting line-up of ships with even Luke Skywalker stepping into an X-Wing on both sides of the playfield.

As usual the commentary from the Fly Casual guys is interesting and well paced. Video quality is of a high standard but dice rolls are still hard to make out.
