The Dogs of War Gaming channel come strong out of the gate with this first round coverage of the Florida state championship. They do a great job of timelapsing the footage at a speed to condense the game down well but not so fast to be detrimental to the gameplay. An excellent little 30 minute battle report.

Star Wars X Wing Store Championship Tournament Finals
The Dogs of War Gaming held a store championship this past weekend. Here we have an excellent quality video of the final match. With full 1080P all game details can be made out and the match can be followed very easily. Now as I said this match was played just this weekend so with recording commentary and such, publishing this video in less than 48 hours is pretty good on the part of the Dogs of War Gaming although it would be nice to include a squad list with shield and hull indicators as most of the higher quality channels are doing.
Commentary is pretty much on par not too interesting but manages to avoid being too boring even though there are some pretty big pauses.

Star Wars X-Wing Store Championship Tournament Top 4
The Dogs of War Gaming channel finally starts to upload the more important games in their store championship. In this case a semi-final match featuring a rebel swarm against the Dash and Corran combination and comes down to a nail biting conclusion.

Star Wars X-Wing Store Championship Tournament Top8
The Dogs of War channel brings us coverage of the quarter finals of their local store championship. A Rebel swarm takes on the Whisper + Decimator combo.
The video quality is excellent and well lit, I was even able to tell the difference between critical and focus dice results.
The commentary on the other hand is a bit dull and this considering that the video was sped up to make the game shorter.

Star Wars X-Wing Store Championship Tournament Rd 5
The Dogs of War Gaming channel continues to give us coverage from their store championship in Florida.
The video quality once again is great giving a clear view of all pieces in play, well lit and presented in 1080p HD.
And the commentators also do a great job of keeping the conversation active and interesting.

Star Wars X Wing Store Championship Tournament Rd 4
Moving on to round four in the Dogs of War gaming channel's store championship coverage.
The Tournament organiser having known that this table was going to be filmed should have made an effort to get more variety in the players/lists assigned to this table. The same rebel swarm has been in three of the four videos uploaded for this championship so far.

Star Wars X-Wing Store Championship Tournament Rd 2
The Dogs of War Gaming channel from down in Florida keep their store championship coverage coming.
What I like about their videos is that they are spacing them out well, This one came out a week ago, and round one a week before that. Then today they uploaded round three and four together so maybe it was just because they didn't have the time to get ready.
And speaking of which your probably all saying wait he said this video went up last week, whys he blogging about it now. Well due to a colleague being sick at work and myself getting pretty heavily sick last weekend my time has been heavily restricted and ever since I have been fighting back the tide of uploads. I've almost got it under control though and soon should be fully up to date.
Anyway back to this video. I like the idea of publishers spacing out their uploads rather then uploading everything in one go and then waiting six weeks before posting more content.
The video quality in this batrep is excellent as we have come to expect from dogs of war gaming. The commentary however is a bit slow and drawn out, and I'm not gonna say that the commentators were drunk while recording but there is the sound of two steel beverage containers being opened in the first five minutes of the video (haha).

Star Wars X-Wing Store Championship Tournament Rd 1
The Dogs of War Gaming channel uploads a match from their recent store championship in florida.
The video in this case is of excellent quality, well lit and the play field occupies the entire height of the screen making all details clear.
The commentary is also well done, a few mistakes and slightly out of sync but a good effort for having not participated in the match in question

Star Wars X-Wing Rd 1 Tournament Dec 2014
Dogs of war Gaming's channel has been producing battle reports on X-wing for a while and it shows. Superb image quality in 1080p with an excellent view of the play field and surrounding area which helps see damage cards and shield tokens being assigned and removed respectively. The play mat is very nice, not being glossy to prevent reflections from ceiling lights and not too black so that obstacle tokens are clearly visible.
Commentary is particularly competent and interesting but there are pauses and mistakes that let down the high standards. Battle in question is an imperial on imperial match up which is heavily rooted in the wave 5 meta with a VT-49 and tie phantom vs a VT-49 and TIE Defender.
As a point of note for all future content I would suggest that if you're not gonna put list details on screen at least make sure that you put the full lists played in the video description. There's no way we can read the cards on the table even in HD.
Another point of interest is that in the Dogs of War Gaming's channel the star wars dice app makes a regular appearance, so for those who are curious about the app but unsure of paying the $5 for it can get a pretty good idea of how it works.
